 Welcome to YeeAnn Chiu Studio! This website (www.yeeannchiu.com) is owned and operated by me, YeeAnn Chiu. Throughout the site, the terms “I”, “me”, and “my” refer to YeeAnn Chiu Studio.

By visiting my site or buying something from me, you are engaging in my “Services” and agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using my website.

1. Online Store Terms

By agreeing to these terms, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your state or territory of residence. You must not use my products or artwork for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, nor violate any laws in your jurisdiction.

2. Shipping, Delivery & International Orders

  • Processing Times: Physical orders (such as art prints) will typically be shipped within 5 business days of purchase, unless unexpected restrictions prevent me from sending your order, or my online shop has been placed on a temporary hold.

  • Arrival Times: While I ship orders promptly, I cannot guarantee exact arrival times once the package is with the postal service.

  • Tracking & Loss: Optional tracked shipping is highly recommended to avoid lost items. YeeAnn Chiu Studio is not responsible for the loss of un-tracked packages.

  • International Customs & Duties: If you are ordering from outside of Australia, your order may be subject to local import duties, taxes, or customs delays. You, the buyer, are responsible for paying any such import fees.

3. Returns and Exchanges

  • 30-Day Window: Returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days of receiving your product.

  • Change of Mind: Change-of-mind returns and exchanges are not offered on seconds sales or commission artworks. This exclusion does not apply where the item is faulty, not fit for purpose, or does not match its description — in those cases, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply regardless of product type.

  • Damaged or Faulty Items: Returns, exchanges, or refunds are accepted for damaged or faulty products, including paper imperfections, ink stains, improper sizing, and printing errors. This applies to all products, including seconds sales and commission artworks.

  • Condition: All returns must be in the same condition as when purchased, including all original packaging. Please keep your return tracking number in case I do not receive your package.

4. Commission Artworks

  • Commission requests are accepted at my discretion and are confirmed once a deposit of 50% of the total price has been paid. This deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced, as it secures your place in my schedule and covers time spent on concept development.

  • Before I begin final artwork, I will share a sketch or concept for your approval. I offer 2 rounds of revisions at the sketch stage at no extra cost; further changes may incur an additional fee. Once you approve the sketch, I will proceed to final artwork, and changes are no longer possible at this stage — please review sketches carefully before approving.

  • Commission artworks are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, exchanges, or refunds once the sketch has been approved, as the piece is made specifically for you. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law if the final piece is faulty or does not match the approved sketch or agreed brief.

  • Turnaround times will be communicated at the time of booking and may vary depending on my current workload.

5. Intellectual Property & Copyright (My Artwork)

All content on this website—including original artwork, prints, illustrations, designs, images, text, and logos—is the intellectual property of YeeAnn Chiu Studio and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws.

  • You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, rebrand, sell, or exploit any portion of my artwork or designs without my express written permission.

  • You may not use any of my illustrations, designs, or imagery for personal use (such as a tattoo) without getting permission first. Please contact me if you wish to request permission.

  • Purchasing a physical print or original piece does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights to you.

6. Products and Pricing

  • Modifications: I reserve the right to change the prices of my products or modify/discontinue a product at any time without notice.

  • Colours: I do my absolute best to display product colours as accurately as possible. However, because computer monitors and phone screens vary, I cannot guarantee that your screen's display will be perfectly accurate.

7. Cookies

My website collects cookies to help improve your online experience. For more information on how cookies are used, please review my Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

I do my best to keep my website running smoothly, and I stand behind the quality of my products. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law that cannot be lawfully excluded. Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, YeeAnn Chiu Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or products purchased from me.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby I provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia.

You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. I reserve the right to update or change any part of these Terms by posting updates to my website.
