How It Works
Subscribe: Subscribe by the 15th to receive next month's Bird Mail. Join after the 15th? You'll automatically be included in the month after.
Made by hand: Each month I choose one Australian bird — painted in gouache, researched with genuine delight — and put together everything that makes it worth knowing. Every postcard, fact sheet, and surprise is made especially for Bird Mail Club members.
Delivered: Your envelope arrives at your door like a small piece of good news. Make a cup of tea. Open it slowly.

Why Birds?
I've always loved how birds reward people who pay attention.
Once you start noticing them, you realise they're everywhere—laughing from gum trees, darting across footpaths, hiding in plain sight, or quietly watching from above. Suddenly, an ordinary walk becomes a treasure hunt.
That's what I hope this little club becomes.
Not just a place to collect postcards or learn interesting facts, but an invitation to slow down, look up, and reconnect with the incredible wildlife that shares our neighbourhoods.
Each month we'll celebrate one Australian bird together—its personality, its quirks, its stories—and maybe, next time you're outside, you'll spot it for yourself.
I like to think of Bird Mail Club as a tiny society of curious bird lovers. A place for people who still get excited when they hear an unfamiliar birdsong or find a feather on a walking track.

When will my Bird Mail arrive?

Subscriptions received by the 15th are included in the following month's Bird Mail. Your envelope will be packed and posted during the first week of that month. Delivery times vary depending on Australia Post and your location. For example: Join by 15 July → receive the August Bird Mail. Join by 15 August → receive the September Bird Mail.

What happens if I subscribe after the 15th?

No worries! If you subscribe after the 15th, your first Bird Mail will be the month after next. This gives me enough time to create, print, and pack every envelope by hand. For example: Subscribe 20 July → receive September's Bird Mail.
Do you ship internationally?

Not just yet. At the moment Bird Mail Club is available within Australia, but I'd love to open international shipping in the future.
