YeeAnn Chiu is a self-taught artist who works primarily with gouache and watercolour. Her artwork explores warmth, connection, and the quiet magic of everyday life.

Born in Taiwan and now based in Melbourne, YeeAnn’s cross-cultural experiences shape the way she reflects on place and belonging. Since childhood, drawing and painting have been a creative outlet that continues to ground her and bring balance. Immersing herself in art is her way of unwinding, a space where imagination is free to wander into colourful, dreamy, and boundless worlds.

Alongside her artistic practice, YeeAnn works as a speech pathologist. Working closely with young children deeply influences her creative voice. The children’s curiosity, spontaneity, and joy continually remind her to approach art with openness and play.

YeeAnn aspires to one day create illustrated works and stories for children — continuing the dialogue between art, imagination, and connection.
